Cheek Bone Fracture feared, David Silva Live Care in Hospital
Manchester – David Silva was immediately taken to the hospital after he suffered a clash with West Ham United player. Spanish midfielder was feared suffered fractured cheek.
Silva was able to care for about 10 minutes on the pitch after his head collided with the elbow Cheikhou Kouyate. At the Etihad Stadium on Sunday (19/04/2015) night, the Citizens won 2-0 through an own goal James Collins and Sergio Aguero.
“Today he (David Silva) was in the hospital and he was examined whether the injury fractured cheekbone,” said Manuel Pellegrini at the BBC.
Although to make Silva collapsed, the referee does not impose penalties on Kouyate red card. Decisions are supported by Pellegrini, who felt the incident out completely crash.
“I always think a player has no intention to injure another player. The referee decided it was not a deliberate act, and I also think so,” said the Chilean manager.
