City-Swansea Reportedly Being Discussed Bony Transfer
Manchester – Manchester City and Swansea City are reportedly discussing the transfer of Swansea striker, Wilfried Bony. The Citizens mentioned are willing to pay dearly for the Ivory Coast striker.
As reported by Sky Sports, the two teams almost reached an agreement. City called willing to pay 30 million pounds (about USD 577 billion), which will make Swansea a profit of around 18 million pounds.
Bony brought in Swansea from Vitesse in season 2013/2014. Together Vitesse, he appeared 65 times in the Eredivisie and scored 46 goals. Swansea were willing to spend 12 million pounds for him up.
In its inaugural season with Swansea, Bony played 34 times in the Premier League and scored 16 goals. This season, he has played 20 times and has scored 9 goals. In total, he has played 54 times in the Premier League and scored 25 goals.
If Bony so joined, the City will have four of the five Premier League‘s top scorer along Squawka 2014. According to records, Bony incised 20 goals in 2014, he outperformed Sergio Aguero (18 goals), Yaya Toure (17 goals), Wayne Rooney (16 goals ), and Edin Dzeko (14 goals).
Bony is currently preparing to join the national team to prepare ahead of the African Cup tournament.
