Referee criticism, Mourinho indicted FA
London – Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, threatened punishment from the Football Association (FA). Mourinho formally charged FA following his comments that criticized the performance of the referee.
Comment was made Mourinho after Chelsea offset Southampton 1-1 (28.12.2014). The Portuguese manager criticized referee Anthony Taylor for not giving a penalty, even Cesc Fabregas getting a yellow card for diving considered when collided with Matt Targett.
“There is an attempt to tackle Chelsea. I do not know why there is such thing and I do not care,” said Mourinho when it.
“Everyone knew it was a penalty. The referee makes a mistake, people make mistakes and he made a mistake. He is a good referee and a good man, he is still young and have a future in football but he made a big mistake. “
Sky Sports reported FA has issued a statement of charges against Mourinho. The controversial manager given time till January 13 at 18:00 local time to respond.
“Comments or attitude in inappropriate, also accusations that any particular wasitu or referee bias, has tarnished the game,” the FA statement.
The FA also revealed that Mourinho previously have received an official warning for comment before the match at Chelsea’s match against Stoke City on 19 December.
