Rodgers Praises Performance Lallana and Henderson
Liverpool – Liverpool returned to winning ways thanks to two goals by Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson. The manager Brendan Rodgers had two foster children appreciate it.
In a match that was rolling at Anfield on Saturday (04/10/2014) night local time, the successful Liverpool a 3-2 victory over West Bromwich Albion. Lallana opened the scoring for the Reds before halftime. The goal was happening thanks to a pass from Henderson.
Entering the second half, Henderson contributes directly to the second goal. He doubled the lead Liverpool in 6i minute after West Brom had equalized in the 56th minute by a penalty Saido Berahino.
Rodgers also give appreciation to foster children. The win put the Reds back to winning ways after just two defeats in three games and the series before.
“(Lallana) gives remarkable tactile and so fit with the ball, it’s a very nice combination. He cut the ball and it becomes a great kick,” Rodgers said as quoted by Sports Mole.
“He’s a young player who was okay and willing to learn and improve himself. He showed improvement in the quality of the field every day.
“I think Henderson contributed two goals are very important. Jordan was able to dominate the game without the ball. He can move and run in between the opponents guard and he did it today.
“He was tired of running while performing face Basel in the Champions League this week and show the same energy today. She’s incredible,” explained Rodgers.
The win kept Liverpool inhabit sixth position with 10 points after a collection of seven games acted.
