Schweinsteiger Bayern Optimistic Can Comeback Before the New Year
Munich – Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, still struggling with injury and is not known when it will return to play. But the Bayern camp believes his players will appear again before the turn of the year.
After dropping Germany won the 2014 World Cup, not to mention Schweisnteiger perform in a competitive match. He only played a few minutes when Bayern undergoing preseason game against the MLS All–Stars last August.
Schweinsteiger called got in trouble at the ankle when Bayern lead the preseason. However, further examination revealed that the 30-year-old also suffered an injury to his knee.
Last week, a report released by Bild claims that Schweinsteiger will not comeback before 2015 Meanwhile, the German national team manager, Oliver Bierhoff, said that there is no estimate of exactly when Die Mannschaft‘s new captain will re-sod.
However, Bayern camp remains optimistic about the chances of a comeback Schweinsteiger. Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer, still confident Schweinsteiger will return to play in this year.
“Obviously there is no reason today to say that he will not play again this year. Course still possible Basti back in 2014 was not unrealistic at all,” said Sammer told Kicker as quoted by ESPN FC.
“His knee is recovering. We are optimistic,” lugasnya.
